I grew up in Texas, a native Texan and proud of that heritage. Texan’s have a unique way of viewing the world around them. From a young boy, hunting and fishing was a way of life and I was taught to appreciate the values and integrity of the outdoors.
My photography reflects my inner feelings, “Everywhere I Look, I See a Picture”. In my daily comings and goings, I look at scenes and situations with an eye towards how that would look in a photograph. I crop the image in my mind’s eye, do the layout and snap, another picture.
I draw on a lifetime of events and experiences, I’m old (old in years, but young at heart). I look at life with a sense of humor and enjoy the daily ups and downs. I always enjoy a rainy day as much as a sunny one, they all have another photo to take. I would rather be outdoors, whether at work or play.
My portfolio consists of those images I envisioned to share with others. Each subject and each image has its ties to that inspiration. The vast array of textures and colors that make up every image reflect my feelings about nature and what it takes to be a steward of the environment.
